Griffon vultures play a vital role in the the ecosystem but need protection from becoming endangered.
Rewilding Apennines needed an explainer video to share knowledge of these birds and to teach people how they can help protect them.

The film needed to feel grounded in Italy so I used a warm, dry colour palette to reflect this colours found in Central Apennines nature. Below are some of the key illustrations from the film.

The film premiered at the event “The Comeback of Griffon Vultures in the Central Apennines” which was hosted by the Carabinieri Biodiversità, Rewilding Apennines, and the municipalities of Magliano de’Marsi and Massa d’Albe.
